How to Join a Session
Welcome to Satellite Plugins. Did you just get a “Session Invitation” from someone, but you’re not sure how to use it? Worry not. Joining a session is very easy.
“Invitation IDs” are unique codes that allow you to join and add audio to a Session in “Satellite Plugins”. Copy the code to your clipboard, and follow these simple instructions:
1. Download, install and activate Satellite Plugins from mixedinkey.com/satellite
2. Open your DAW.
3. Add Satellite Sessions as a VST/AU/AAX plugin to a new, blank MIDI channel. A welcome screen will pop up, with a couple of options.
4. Click “Join a Session”.
5. Enter the “Session Invitation Code” your session host gave you.
6. You are in!
7. Now, all you need to do is add Satellite Audio to tracks you wish to share, and get collaborating! (For help with that, go here).
